Buttercream is trending in a fresh and beautiful way! Learn how to create modern, delicate and delicious buttercream cakes during this private one day intensive.  In this mini masterclass, you will learn:

  • Tips and tricks for coloring swiss meringue buttercream
  • Learn how to use the tools required to make different buttercream flowers
  • Demo on how to pipe our signature flowers and fillers: Rose, chrysanthemum, hydrangea, apple blossom, carnation, daisy, leaves, buds, baby's breath and berries
  • Coat a cake tier and learn different side finishes: smooth sides, freehand texture, cake comb texture, watercolor, ombre, and stripes
  • Arrange flowers in various designs: crescent, wreath and full bouquet

Recipes for Swissmeringue buttercream will be shared.  We will be using styrofoam tiers in this class to ensure we can practice multiple designs and arrangements throughout the day.  This is a one on one private class and it will take approximately 3 hours to complete.  The pace of this mini masterclass if very fast and after each flower demo, there is limited time to practice each flower.  If you would like more time to practice and learn with more hands on assistance, please sign up for the comprehensive masterclass which is 6 hours and includes more flowers.  Please contact us at eatcakebemerry@gmail.com to schedule a date.
